Levent Aydaş, partner, Aydaş Liman Kurman Attorneys at Law, graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in the year 1999 and was admitted to the Ankara Bar Association in 2000. He attended the Professional English Certificate Program at the Ankara University Institute for Banking and Commercial Law in 1997. He attended the English Contract Law Course held at Oxford, Oriel College, organized by UIA Contract Law Commission, in July 2004. He speaks English fluently at a professional level.

Mr. Aydaş worked for Agence France Press-AFP between the years 1997 – 1999 as a stringer, part-time.

In 2000, Mr. Aydaş completed his training in one of the leading law offices of Ankara, where he mainly dealt with Criminal Law, International Construction Law, Law of Obligations, and Contracts Law. He drafted agreements for telecommunications, subscriptions, distributorships and sales. After he was admitted to Ankara Bar Association, he worked as an associate lawyer for this law office for a short period.
Between the years 2001 and 2002, Mr. Aydaş worked in a major Law Firm in Istanbul. He led the international department of the firm and dealt with international disputes. He arranged amicable settlements and negotiations. He drafted several contracts in various legal areas such as contracts of distributorship, sale, lease, sponsorship and construction.

Mr. Aydaş worked as a senior lawyer for one of the leading law offices in Ankara between 2002 and 2007. Besides handling many international commercial transactions, he worked with governmental agencies, and completed transactions regarding the trademark and patent applications. He attended clients' negotiation meetings for the settlement of disputes and represented his clients before the Turkish courts. Mr. Aydaş is an experienced litigation attorney and legal consultant on both local and international law field, as well as a trademark and patent attorney.
Mr. Aydaş is a founding member of the Turkish National Committee of UIA (Union Internationale des Avocats) and the President of the Ankara Bar Association Foreign Affairs Center. He is also one of the editors of “Ankara Bar Review”, chronicle of Ankara Bar Association published in English.
