Altan Liman, partner Aydaş Liman Kurman Attorneys at Law, was admitted to the Ankara Bar Association in 2002. He has a law degree from the Ankara University Law School and an LL.M. degree from the University of Amsterdam, Law School. He has also attended the European Law Summer Courses at the Academy of European Law, in the European University Institute. He speaks English fluently.

Before joining Aydas Liman Kurman in 2007, he was the sole partner of Liman Law Office between 2004 and 2007. Prior to that he worked in a major law firm between 2002 and 2003 where he gained extensive experience by working for many global companies and banks. He worked in several M&A deals, drafted agreements and participated to negotiations on behalf of clients with respect to such deals. He advised a major foreign bank in a multi-million US dollar loan transfer agreement in 2005. He has been advising many foreign and local companies, and representing them in front of Turkish courts and authorities.

Altan Liman specializes in commercial law, corporate law, contracts law, EU law, dispute resolution-litigation, project financing, and direct foreign investments.

He is a member of the Ankara Bar Association where he acted as the vice-chairman of the International Law Commission between 2004 and 2006; and the chairman of the Commission responsible for the relations with the American Bar Association between 2006 and 2008. He is also a member of the International Bar Association and ELS (ELSA Lawyers Society).

He is elected as a board member of TED Ankara Kolejliler Sports Club in 2009. He is also a member of Turk Egitim Dernegi (Turkish Education Association) and TED Ankara College Alumni Association.
